2. Corfu – Paxos Island
After breakfast you will sail to the island of Paxos, the island of olives. Paxos is the smallest of the seven Ionian Islands inhabited by more olive trees than people – 32 kmq are home to over 250,000 olive trees! They cover the island in a wonderful silver green shimmer. The natural harbor of Gaios is unique and will provide a special atmosphere to your stay here. In the afternoon you will have a small cycle tour along the coast to Mongonisi bay. You can spend the evening enjoying local taverns in Gaios.
3. Paxos Island - Lefkas Island
In the morning sail to Lefkas Island and Lefkas town, but before arriving you will anchor near Antipaxos for a swim stop diving directly from the boat. After a long cruise you will reach a narrow channel with an original swing bridge which connects the Greek mainland with the island. From Lefkas town set off for your tour around the lagoon and enjoy a second swim at the white sand beach, Agios Ioannis. After returning to the boat, you will navigate our way to Nidri where you will spend the evening and the night.
4. Lefkas Island - Cephalonia Island
In the morning ride from Nidri through olive groves to a nearby waterfall. If you are lucky, a steady stream of water will let you take a refreshing swim. From here you will proceed to Fiskardo on the island of Cephalonia. This port, located at the northern tip of the island, will delight you with its colourful little houses and many cafes and taverns along the picturesque harbour promenade. An evening 30 minute walk will lead you to a pretty nearby lighthouse. Overnight in Fiskardo.
5. Cephalonia Island - Meganisi Island (aprx. 9.5 mi/15 km)
After a short boat crossing you will reach the harbour of Agia Efimia, featured in the Hollywood film ‘’Captain Corelli’s Mandolin’’. Today’s bike tour starts here and will lead you along the coastline to the enchanting Melissani Cave; accessible only on a row boat. Before you head back to the boat for the evening you will pay an educational visit to a donkey farm. The boat will meet you in Sami and takes you for a well-deserved swim break! More sailing further on to Meganisi, a charming island where you’ll spend the night.
6. Meganisi Island – Arillas (aprx. 6 mi./10 km)
After breakfast you have the chance to explore Meganisi on your bike. Afterwards a long crossing will take you to Arillas, an idyllic and peaceful place along the Greek west coast, close to Perdika on the Greek mainland. A stroll along the sandy beach or a swim around Panagiota (the boat) rounds off the day. Overnight in Arillas.
7. Arillas – Corfu Island
In the morning your bike tour will lead you in remote roads under the shade of ancient olive trees through a national park and along a little river until you reach the monastery of Agios Athanasios, which you will have the opportunity to visit. The Panagiota will be waiting for your last crossing back to Corfu. Here you will enjoy a final group meal and celebrate a fun week together.
